Spreading Smiles One Toy at a Time: West Boca Bulls and Logger’s Run Give Back

Alexa Mushlin and the West Boca Bulls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids partnered with Julie Gates and students at Logger’s Run Middle School to bring holiday joy to children in need through a Holiday Toy Drive.

With teamwork and generosity at the heart of the project, students from both schools came together to collect and donate toys, ensuring that children could experience the joy and excitement of receiving a holiday gift. This collaborative effort not only provided much-needed presents but also showcased the power of kindness and community giving.

Why This Matters

The holiday season is meant to be a time of joy, warmth, and celebration, but for many families, providing gifts can be difficult. The West Boca Bulls and Logger’s Run Middle students helped brighten the holidays by sharing generosity and compassion. A single donated toy can bring happiness, comfort, and a sense of belonging to a child during the season.

How You Can Help

At STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, we believe that every act of kindness has the power to make a difference. Here’s how you can support efforts like this:

  • Donate toys to local holiday drives to bring joy to children in need.

  • Organize a school or community toy collection to make an even bigger impact.

  • Join or start a chapter to lead service projects that spread kindness and support children in your community.

Thank you to Alexa Mushlin, Julie Gates, the West Boca Bulls, and Logger’s Run Middle School for making the holiday season brighter for children in need.

Share this story to inspire others to spread joy and generosity during the holidays.
