
COURTROOM PROGRAMS
Speak Up for Kids helps to ensure that every abused, abandoned and neglected child in Palm Beach County is provided with a court appointed advocate, with the intention that they don’t get lost in our overburdened legal and social service system. By partnering with the 15th Judicial Circuit - Guardian ad Litem Office, Speak Up For Kids provides positions to ensure that a team of advocates work together to provide the best advocacy for the child that includes an attorney, a child advocate manager, and a volunteer child advocate. This team works side by side throughout the dependency proceedings, following him or her during their stay in the foster care system.
Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Child Advocates are needed for the many children entering the foster care system.
Specialty Courts establish a team approach to advocacy and early intervention for a safe, loving home for the youngest of victims and children with disabilities.
