Spreading Smiles One Treat at a Time: Benjamin School Buccaneers Celebrate Halloween

Louisa Swank and the Benjamin School Buccaneers Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids made Halloween extra special by assembling and distributing 30 festive Halloween goodie bags filled with treats and surprises.

Each goodie bag was packed with candy, Halloween-themed pencils, small Halloween toys, and handwritten notes from students, adding a thoughtful and personal touch to the spooky fun. This project brought excitement and joy to children, making sure they felt included in the holiday celebrations.

Why This Matters

Halloween is a time for fun and creativity, but not every child gets to enjoy the magic of the season. A small gift like a Halloween goodie bag can make a big impact, bringing happiness, a sense of belonging, and a little extra festive spirit to a child’s day. The Benjamin School Buccaneers showed that kindness can be shared in simple yet meaningful ways.

How You Can Help

At STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, we believe that even small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Donate small gifts or treats to support similar initiatives.

  • Volunteer to assemble and distribute goodie bags for children in need.

  • Join or start a chapter to lead fun and meaningful service projects in your community.

Thank you to Louisa Swank and the Benjamin School Buccaneers for bringing Halloween joy and community spirit through this thoughtful initiative

Share this story to inspire others to give back in creative ways throughout the year.
