FAU Owls Reach 400 Users in Social Media Campaign on Child Abuse Prevention

On April 20 (2022), Our Owls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up For Kids at Florida Atlantic University, led by Sarah Meyer Bertheau, created a beautiful pinwheel garden in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month. These blue pinwheels are symbols of health, happy childhoods and is the official emblem of child abuse prevention. By decorating their campus with these pinwheels, these students spread awareness of an important cause and showcased the power of student action.

The FAU Owls also conducted a social media campaign, illustrating the importance of communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. They reached 393 Instagram users, highlighting the inspirational advocacy of these students!
