Calvary Lions Chapter Brings Holiday Joy with Thanksgiving Activity Baskets

A huge shoutout to Ciana Ruocco and the Calvary Lions Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids (Broward County) for spreading Thanksgiving cheer in a creative and thoughtful way!

To make the holiday extra special for children in need, Ciana and her team assembled Thanksgiving activity baskets filled with coloring books, colored pencils, cake mix, cookies, and other festive goodies. These baskets weren’t just about treats—they provided kids with fun activities to enjoy during the holiday, bringing joy and engagement to their Thanksgiving celebrations.

This initiative highlights the power of youth leadership and community service, proving that small, meaningful actions can make a lasting impact. By combining creativity and generosity, the Calvary Lions Chapter helped create holiday memories for children who may not otherwise have access to these simple joys.
