Speak Up For Kids is proud to honor Pastor Sherry Colby and Brett Colby with the Lifetime of Advocacy Award, recognizing a family whose commitment to service, generosity, and community has created a lasting ripple effect across Palm Beach County.

Pastor Sherry Colby, Senior Pastor of Victory Worship Center, has spent decades cultivating faith, resilience, and compassion within her congregation and the broader community. Through her leadership, Victory Worship has become a place where service is not an occasional act, but a way of life grounded in love, stewardship, and responsibility to one another. Her influence has shaped countless lives and continues to inspire a culture of giving that extends well beyond the church walls.

That legacy is reflected in the life and leadership of her son, Brett Colby, a respected real estate professional and community advocate in his own right. Brett and his family have been steadfast supporters of Speak Up For Kids for many years, modeling the importance of civic engagement and philanthropy through action. This commitment has been intentionally passed to the next generation with his sons actively participating in Speak Up For Kids’ campaigns, demonstrating how generosity and social responsibility are nurtured at a young age.

Together  supported by their extended family and community  Pastor Sherry Colby and Brett Colby exemplify how advocacy becomes most powerful when it is lived, shared, and sustained across generations. Their collective impact reminds us that when one person leads with purpose, an entire family  and community can follow.

We are deeply grateful for their years of partnership, belief in our mission, and unwavering support of children living in foster care. It is truly a family affair and an honor well deserved.
