I am excited to introduce myself as Christina Headley, the Foster Youth Resource Concierge at Speak Up For Kids PBC. My mission is to provide personalized support and resources to foster youth as they are preparing to turn 18. Register here for our virtual event on July 11th at 7 PM. Our Foster Youth Resource Concierge Offers:

  • Personalized Advocacy and Support: l work one-on-one with foster youth to understand their needs and goals, providing guidance and support tailored to each individual.

  • Appointment Assistance: Whether it's a medical, educational, or legal appointment, I can meet foster youth at the location of the appointment and accompany them to ensure they feel empowered and informed.

  • Paperwork Help: From college applications to job forms and housing documents, I am here to help youth navigate and complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.

  • Educational and Career Guidance: I can connect foster youth with educational opportunities, vocational training, and career resources to help them achieve their goals.

  • Life Skills Development: I offer support in developing essential life skills, such as budgeting, navigating public transportation, acquiring a driver’s license, time management, and numerous everyday tasks, to prepare foster youth for independent living.

  • Connecting to Community Resources: Utilizing local resources, I can connect foster youth with counseling, job placement programs, recreational activities, and more.
