Voloridge Making the Holidays Brighter for Children in the Dependency System

The holidays can be especially difficult for children in the dependency system, children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. At Speak Up For Kids, we advocate for these children year-round, and during the holiday season, Voloridge steps forward in a powerful way.

Year after year, Voloridge goes above and beyond for children in the dependency system served by the Guardian ad Litem Office of Palm Beach County. Through the VoloCare holiday toy drive, Voloridge employees come together to fulfill individual wish lists and ensure each child is thought of personally.

This is not a simple toy drive. Each child's wish is honored with care, and employees invest time and attention into selecting gifts that reflect what each child truly wants. The result is extraordinary, a large collection of gifts including bikes, electronics, sneakers, books, games, and carefully chosen sensory items.

For children in the dependency system, experiences like this help create moments of normalcy and joy. These gifts offer comfort, encouragement, and the chance for children to simply be kids during a time of year that can otherwise feel overwhelming.

“Voloridge constantly reminds our children that they matter,” said Coleen LaCosta, Executive Director of Speak Up For Kids. “The care and effort that goes into this holiday drive sends a powerful message to children in the dependency system that they are not forgotten.”

We are especially grateful to Stephanie Oster, whose time, leadership, and attention to detail make this effort possible year after year. Her commitment, along with the support of the entire Voloridge team, reflects a company culture rooted in generosity and community.

What makes this support stand out is the personal investment. Team members spend hours shopping, assembling bikes, wrapping gifts, and going beyond the wish lists to ensure children feel celebrated.

From all of us at Speak Up For Kids, and with extra love to the children served by the Guardian ad Litem Office of Palm Beach County, thank you to Voloridge for continuing to show up for children in the dependency system during the holidays and throughout the year.
