FAU Owls Chapter Creates Over 100 Birthday Cards to Celebrate Foster Youth

Members of the FAU Owls (University) chapter show off their handmade cards for children in the foster care system.

Frida Zavala and the FAU Owls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids created over 100 birthday cards to celebrate foster kids' birthdays. Each card was hand-drawn by FAU students who used their artistic and creative abilities to make each card unique and special. Through this heartwarming project, Frida Zavala and her team brought smiles and a sense of belonging to over 100 foster kids, demonstrating the power of creativity and care in supporting vulnerable children. The birthday cards were then distributed to foster kids to help establish a sense of community and support.
