FAU Owls Chapter Brings Magic to Storybook Village 2022, Impacting Foster Children with Creativity and Care

FAU Owls (University) Chapter brought “Pin the Tail on Max” from the story of Where the Wild Things Are.

Frida Zavala and the FAU Owls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, made a lasting impact at Storybook Village 2022. They brought the beloved story of Where the Wild Things Are to life through engaging activities for foster children such as "Pin the Tail on Max.”

These fun events helped foster children feel included, empowered, and celebrated. Their imaginative efforts allowed the children to step into a world of storytelling while creating unforgettable moments of joy and connection.

The project showcased how student-led initiatives can play a vital role in fostering self-confidence and belonging for vulnerable children. The event left a lasting emotional impact on both the students and the youth they served.
