Filling Jars and Hearts— Homeschooler’s Encouragement Jars Sprinkle Joy and Support for Foster Kids!

Carla Langston, one of our inspiring homeschoolers, initiated a heartfelt project aimed at impacting thirty foster youth in her community. Carla recollected on all the wisdom she learned as a child and compiled them into encouraging sayings. She wanted to share these ideas for foster youth who may have missed out on receiving such guidance. Thus, her encouragement jars were born!

Carla designed a simple yet powerful way to show these young individuals that they are loved and valued. Each jar is filled with uplifting messages, reminding the youth that kindness and support can come from unexpected places. Through her project, Carla demonstrates how small gestures can create meaningful change, fostering a sense of belonging and hope in the lives of these young people. Her dedication not only uplifts the recipients but also inspires others to contribute to their community in meaningful ways.
