Frightfully Fun: Spanish River Sharks Make 50 Handmade Halloween Masks

Rylie Heck and the Spanish River Sharks Chapter brought creativity and Halloween spirit to life by crafting 50 handmade Halloween masks to spread encouragement, motivation, and inspiration.

With a focus on making the holiday more fun and inclusive, the chapter came together to design and create unique masks, allowing kids to fully enjoy the spooky season in a special way. Whether playful, spooky, or silly, each handmade mask was a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a big impact.

Why This Matters

Halloween is a time for fun and imagination, but not every child has access to festive accessories to fully participate. By providing handmade Halloween masks, the Spanish River Sharks helped ensure that more kids could feel included and celebrated. Simple gestures like these bring joy, boost confidence, and remind children that they are valued.

How You Can Help

At STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, we believe that creativity and kindness go hand in hand. Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Donate craft supplies to support similar creative projects.

  • Organize a handmade costume or mask drive to help children celebrate special occasions.

  • Join or start a chapter to lead service projects that bring encouragement and fun to kids.

Thank you to Rylie Heck and the Spanish River Sharks Chapter for making Halloween extra special with their handmade masks and thoughtful outreach.

Share this story to inspire others to bring creativity and kindness to their communities.
