A Little Love Goes a Long Way: West Boca Bulls Brighten Valentine’s Day for Kids
Alexa Mushlin and the West Boca Bulls Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids made this Valentine’s Day extra special by creating handmade cards and gifting fidget toys to children in need.
Fifteen student volunteers put together heartfelt Valentine’s Day messages paired with fun and calming fidget toys, spreading kindness and encouragement to those who may need it most. These small but meaningful gifts served as reminders that every child is valued, appreciated, and deserving of love.
Why This Matters
Acts of kindness, even as simple as a card or a small gift, can have a big impact on a child’s emotional well-being. Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate love and connection, and for many children, receiving a thoughtful note can help them feel seen, cared for, and supported. The addition of fidget toys also provides a useful tool for stress relief and focus, making this initiative both heartfelt and beneficial.
