Royal Palm Beach Wildcats Wrap Kids in Kindness with Valentine’s Treats and Blankets

Alyssa Santero and the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids made this Valentine’s Day extra special by assembling 350 Valentine’s Day goodie bags and organizing a cozy blanket drive to bring warmth and joy to children in need.

Each carefully crafted goodie bag was filled with treats and thoughtful surprises, ensuring that kids felt loved, remembered, and appreciated during the holiday. The Wildcats also collected cozy blankets, adding an extra layer of comfort to those who could use it most.

Why This Matters

Valentine’s Day is a time for love, kindness, and connection, and even the smallest gestures can make a big difference in a child’s life. A simple bag of treats or a warm blanket can bring happiness, reassurance, and a sense of belonging to those who may not always experience these moments of care. The Wildcats’ initiative was a reminder that everyone deserves to feel valued and supported.

How You Can Help

At STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, we believe that acts of kindness, no matter how small, can leave a lasting impact. Here’s how you can make a difference:

  •  Donate blankets or care items to provide warmth and comfort.

  • Create holiday goodie bags to spread kindness and encouragement.

  • Join or start a chapter to lead projects that support children in need.

Thank you to Alyssa Santero and the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats for their generosity, compassion, and dedication to making a difference in the lives of children.

Share this story to inspire others to spread warmth, kindness, and love in their communities.
