OUR INITIATIVES

At Speak Up for Kids, we mitigate the trauma and cultivate the self-worth of kids living in foster care.

Here’s how we do it.

    Students Speak Up for Kids

Student-led advocacy and peer support initiatives.

  • Simplified drawing of a basketball hoop with a backboard and a pyramid-shaped structure below it.

    Milestones & Essentials

Providing what every child needs—dignity, comfort, and celebration.

  • Outline of a person surrounded by various shapes including a star, heart, square, and circle, with a dashed circular line.

    Life Skills

Equipping foster youth with tools for adulthood and independence.

  • Two black outlined hands holding a house with a person icon inside, symbolizing home care or real estate support.

    Homes of Hope

Supporting and celebrating caregivers to stabilize placements and strengthen families.

  • Two clenched fists with a speech bubble containing ellipsis above them.

    Advocacy

Strengthening child welfare systems through support, education and engagement.

YOUR IMPACT

It may take a village to raise a child

- but a united community with heart

is required to support a foster kid
