Hungry for Stories: Thunderwolves Inspire Through Books

Shoutout to Ethan Miller and the Oxbridge Thunderwolves Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids

At this year’s Storybook Village, Ethan Miller and the Oxbridge Thunderwolves brought a beloved tale to life with their themed table inspired by The Hungry Caterpillar. With colorful visuals, creative activities, and friendly volunteers, the team welcomed more than 200 children to an interactive storytelling experience that celebrated imagination and learning.

Seven students volunteered their time to set up and run the event table, turning a simple story into a memorable moment for every child who visited. The team’s energy and enthusiasm made it easy for kids to connect with the book and feel excited about reading.

Why This Matters

Events like Storybook Village offer children, including those in foster care, the chance to engage with books in a fun and meaningful way. A positive story experience can leave a lasting impression, especially when paired with kindness and encouragement from caring volunteers.

By bringing The Hungry Caterpillar to life, the Oxbridge Thunderwolves helped promote early literacy, joy, and a sense of belonging for every child who stopped by.
