Spanish River Students Unite for Child Abuse Prevention: Raising Awareness with Bracelets and Pinwheels
The Spanish River Shark Chapter of Students Speak Up for Kids gathered together to make and hand out blue bracelets in honor of CAP month. They also created pinwheels and handed out different colors of sunglasses!
STEMinist Snowflakes
The STEMinists from The Spanish River Shark Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids hosted a creative table where kids painted and decorated snowflakes made from salt, glue, and paint. They also recruited more girls for their STEMinist project, a group initiative where members of the STEMinist club at Spanish River High School meet monthly with young girls to teach science, technology, engineering, and math, while also fostering confidence-building skills.
