Be Brave, Be Bold: Broncos Empower Kids with Superhero Mask Puppets
Shoutout to Nathea Masse and the Palm Beach Central Broncos Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids
At this year’s Storybook Village, Nathea Masse and the Palm Beach Central Broncos brought a bold and empowering message to life with their BRAVE themed booth. Through hands-on superhero mask puppet-making, they reminded more than 200 children that courage comes in all shapes and sizes, and that every child has a hero inside them.
Kids had the chance to design their own superhero masks, turning them into fun puppets to take home. With glitter, markers, and big imaginations, children created characters that reflected their inner strength and creativity. The activity was not only fun but deeply meaningful, helping children feel brave, valued, and inspired.
Why This Matters
For foster youth and other children in attendance, the opportunity to explore self-expression through storytelling and art can have a lasting impact. Activities like this give kids the chance to see themselves as strong, capable, and worthy of being celebrated.
Nathea and the Broncos created more than just crafts; they created a space for empowerment, imagination, and connection.
