Sofia Scher and the Spanish River Sharks Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, in collaboration with their school’s DECA Club, assembled and distributed Sun Care Kits containing sunscreen, water bottles, new long-sleeved clothing, rash guards, hats, and handwritten letters to support and protect foster children from the sun’s harmful rays while ensuring they feel cared for and valued.

Brooke Meixner assembled Falling into Playground Fun kits to ensure children have everything they need for an active and engaging playtime experience, thoughtfully putting together at least six kits filled with activities and essentials that promote outdoor play, creativity, and movement, ultimately providing kids with opportunities to stay active, build social skills, and enjoy the benefits of play.

Louisa Swank and the Benjamin School Buccaneers Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids made birthdays extra special by creating 50 handmade birthday cards thoughtfully designed with bright colors, cheerful messages, and personal touches to remind children they are celebrated and valued, bringing joy and encouragement to those who may not always experience a traditional birthday celebration.

Franco Ruocco and the Calvary Lions Chapter of STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, in collaboration with the Jason Foundation, organized a teen mental health and suicide prevention workshop to raise awareness and provide valuable resources, while also hosting a donation drive that collected an estimated $2,000 worth of essential items for children in foster care.

Jocelyn took center stage at Battle of the Bands by setting up an interactive table to support STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids, raising over $250 while recruiting band teachers for the Music Buddies program, which connects students with valuable music mentorship opportunities and ensures more young musicians can learn, grow, and develop their passion for music.
